o further ensure that this did not happen, Meigs ordered the construction of a tomb for unknown Civil War dead in the rose garden in April 1866. The remains of 2,111 unknown soldiers, recovered from battlefields in the vicinity of Washington, were sealed in the vault.[30] They joined some 15,000 other Civil War casualties who had already been laid to rest at Arlington.

Answer: Mrs. Lee's garden as ordered by Gen. Meigs

Hoosier can score however he likes.

Edit - I'm glad that a lot of people thought this was an interesting question, and apparently hardly anyone was misled by the fact that the question indicated all 2,111 of the soldiers were Union, while most sources indicate that some of them were Confederate.

However, for the purposes of the game, I will not count this question in the scoring, since some players evidently had the unfair advantage of seeing the answer before making their posts. Also, I have no way of knowing how many potential players refrained from submitting answers to this question because there was an indication that the question was going to be thrown out.
