Hi,
Started a new Twitter feed giving daily thoughts/experiences/observances of Richard Kirkland, Kershaw's Brigade as they (might have) occurred in 1863. I will continue to "tweet" until his death at Chickamauga in September. Follow me if anyone's interested! The main sources will be my own research as well as retired national park historian Mac Wyckoff (I helped to edit his latest book on the 2nd South Carolina) and brigade historian D. Augustus Dickert.
You can follow me @KirklandRR
By the way, just went to the Minnesota Civil War Symposium today. James Ogden III (Chickamauga historian) and Terrence Winschel (Vicksburg/retired historian) and others, were excellent.
