I'm starting get itchy feet again as I didn't get out to Gettysburg this summer.

I'm aware of 150th events at the Wilderness and New Market in the spring, and of Atlanta in the Autumn. Are there any others that might be worth keeping an eye on? Getting an idea of what's going on when (and where) will help me shape a trip around it! Probably going to be looking at the eastern theatre this time round.

I don't want to be drawn into a debate about which ones might be farbfests or moneymakers for the organisers etc but just an idea of what'll be going on.

I'm going this year (it's only an hour away, so no long drive!); I'll report back, assuming I don't die of exposure out there.

Might be able to meet you there, if my grandson decides he wants to do a national event.

As for exposure, I have the same worries myself, unless I expose some good port before I go to sleep on the cold, hard, ground. ;)

Oh it's not that cold! It's worse ;) Actually looking like we might get snow if we're lucky! After Gettysburg I want cold.

150th Olustee in north Florida in February.Always a nice event and pretty well attended. On the battlefield as well.I heard that the BGA gave up on a 150th Franklin, but its still early.
Personally, would love to see a huge effort for a sort of Overland thing, including Wilderness,Spots, and Yellow Tavern.I heard rumors of a 150th Trevilian Station.

Seems i heard people talking about it at Chick.I just Google stuff now and then and see what pops up,myself

This event will include a 25 mile march through Washington and onto Prairie D'Ane where there will be a battle reenactment on the 12th. This is an actual moving campaign. Further information will be provided closer to the event date.
