2 shells need id help

I have two artillery rifled rounds that I cannot id. The first, marked Vicksburg, has a sliightly rounded bottom and 4 grooves in the side (see photos) The second has a lip at the bottom. Any help, THANK YOU in advance Hank

General Gibbon edited The Artillerist's Manual to reflect lessons learned during the early war period. Originally, it was intended for use at West Point. As a result, it is both comprehensive & very clearly written. The illustrations are excellent.

I call Gibbon's the 4H Manual of artillery because of its how to orientation.
