Brigadier Generals Felix Zollicoffer (who was killed) and William H. Carroll.

R

Edit - My research indicates that Carroll was also a general on the losing side in this battle, so anyone who names Carroll, either by himself or in addition to Zollicoffer, will get credit for a correct answer.

My answer is William H. Carroll, who, like Crittenden, was charged with drunkenness and incompetence.

Felix Zollicoffer also participated in the battle as a general on the Confederate side, but he was killed before the battle was over. The Confederates were actually doing fairly well before Zollicoffer's demise.
