1863 Velasco Letter

Good afternoon friends,

My museum recently acquired an envelope out of Velasco, Texas dated 1863.

I cannot make out the name of the sender, but beneath the signature it seems to read "Adjutant. 4th Infantry. T.S.T."

If anyone can make out the name, I would love more information on the individual to inform our Civil War display.

The first name is still undecipherable to me but the last name in the second photogragh looks like Pilishburg to me at least.

Can't find the name or any close contenders.

The only list I've found is a cavalry unit out of Brazoria county.

This gentleman is out of the 4th infantry Texas State Troops. So, I'm not sure. Still falling down the rabbit hole. Hmmm...

There were 2 different 4th Inf TST here are unit files for both. The last name of the officer is hard to make out so who you gonna call paging @lelliott19
