Perhaps member @7th Mississippi Infantry would pull his service records from Fold 3 and see of there are any supporting documents?

No problem.

There're only four cards that I found on fold3.
It looks like the transcriber made a mistake and entered the initials "W. J . Jackson" on the last record.

@GaJackson, I see you posted then haven't been back on, I do hope you return. As has been stated Lelliot is by far the most knowledgeable member on the 16th.

My GGG Grandfather, Jackson H. Randolph served in the 16th from the start of the war until right near the end when he transferred to the 16th Ga. Cavalry. His house still stands right across the county line in Hall County on Holly Springs Rd.
