This should be the Christ Lutheran Church in Gettysburg, in Chambersburg Street.

Although I thought I remembered from my visit at Gettysburg that the Lutheran church there had no belfry, just a cupola. Hmmm... maybe it was different back then ... here comes a photo of Christ Lutheran Street in Gettysburg, 30 Chambersburg St. :


Edit - You are correct, Christ Lutheran Church was the hiding place of Elizabeth Butler.

It is almost impossible to see from ground level, but there is a bell hanging in that cupola. You can see it in the illustration in post # 3.
