I am traveling for half of February and I am going unplugged. So I will see everyone in March. Being retired, I spend way too much time researching trivia topics. There are days that I spend several hours further reading on trivia subjects that I find interesting. I am ok on Gettysburg subjects but know little else. Trivia questions expose me to so many CW topics that I know nothing about. The problem is, I spend all my research time on my IPad and I get winter burnout. Unfortunately all that research gets me in trouble. I missed that Packer question because I refuse to answer a trivia question based on rumors. I read about Packer here and once I found out he was from the Pittsburgh area, I had to read more, especially since I know a Packer. So I knew Packers story well. Every site on Packer ends with the vegetarian rumor. One site I found talks specifically about that vegetarian rumor and how unlikely it is fact, especially from someone living at high elevations with limited growing seasons. So I take what I thought was the safer route and went with his return to a normal lifestyle with multiple jobs on his question. Wrong! So to make a long story short, if sources say something is a rumor, use that rumor as an answer. That cost me this month and broke my cowinner streak going back to February '19.

So I am going unplugged for a month. So congratulations to who ever the cowinners are in January. Thanks to all who play and administer this trivia game. See you all in March. Or putting it in Pittsburghese, See yinz in March. Take care.
