So many soldiers missed their loved ones and families. This General had nicknames for all of his children. The children's nicknames George became known as "Boo," Mary was known as "Daughter," Eleanor as "Wigs," Robert Jr. was known as "Brutus," then Mildred was known as "Precious Life." Who was the man that had given his children these nicknames?

Edit - Now that the thread is closed, St Albans Raid has indicated that the correct answer to this question is Robert E. Lee.

The marble man himself

Edit - Personally, I am not familiar with this nickname for Robert E. Lee.

I decided to give credit for this answer, because my research indicates that an author named Connelly wrote a book referring to Robert E. Lee by this nickname.

However, I request that in future, players try to answer questions like this with the person's given name, rather than using a nickname that may or may not be universally recognized.
