I want more....But, all I have is a post-card picture of an original portrait of the General.....I got it at Shiloh in 1975 when I was 10 years old (my first visit to Shiloh, as well as the first battlefield I ever visited).....I want more art work, but can't afford it.....I am surprised that my little postcard has survived 39 years.....It meant something to me then, and it means something to me now.....

I know this is shocking, but this is the only one I have.....sort of like Albert....I picked a print up at the Boyhood Home when we were there for Larry's plaque dedication, and it means something to me.

Well, other than the standard big photo, which is like the other generals and was bought at the same time--in Harpers Ferry! I did have to defend it from that nasty NPS woman......

I have this portrait framed and hanging in my Man Cave. This is the only portrait of General Forrest that I own.

To be honest, this is not my favorite. But it is signed twice and numbered by the artist.
The Memphis artist Lafayette Ragsdale, did a few pieces on Forrest & I was fortunate enough to get this print over twenty years ago,
