By any chance would this have an ID to a unit or soldier

Also, I would great appreciate it if someone could share the Colt SRS form with me

By any chance could you share the colt srs form with me?
Last I looked into it many years ago those SRS documents cost over $900 to get. If your willing to get ripped off and money is nothing to you contact the Colt History website (I don't have it off hand, maybe someone here does) and for $300-350 they will look up when your Colt was made & where it was shipped. Plus on a nice fancy page the document is on. It used to cost $25 and was worth it, I did it once over 35 years ago. But some Shyster there decided to raise the price. Now only worth it if you have a Colt valued at a few thousand $.
 
Remember that the Colt historical letters are completely different from the Springfield Research Service records.
