Hello everyone!

I recently have been reading excerpts from Fanny Seward's diary from the war, and I have to say it is truly enlightening. Her perspectives are so fresh and usually unbiased (E.g. her description of the night her father Sec. of State William Seward was attacked is detailed and shocking).

I am wondering if anyone can tell me why her unabridged diaries have never been published, and will they ever? It is a shame that we are missing out on such a resource.
