I collect liberian stamps from 1860 to 1940. My interest comes from our Civil War and the whole colonization thing. It's an on and off again hobby, I can pick up or put down and pick up again when I feel like it and that suits fine right me now.

Just the connection with the colonization scheme of sending freed slaves to liberia. No direct connection with liberian stamps and our Civil War I suppose. Just my fussy minded way of associating things...
