HF Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter.

Historical-Fiction
Seeing so many Confederates were undead and no bullets or such could kill them, I think they should have continued attacking, well until the silver bullets could arrive.
Well, now I'm really getting curious. I don't suppose there were any Missouri bushwhackers, were there? The thought of an undead and unkillable Bill Anderson would give me nightmares.

Lincoln's biggest mistake was to try and abolish slavery because as we all know, vampires used slaves as a captive food source. It was a smart move by Jefferson Davis to deploy confederate vampires to carry out the first asssault at Gettysburg, has anyone found a civil war silver bullet yet!

I'll drink to that...

I must say it is a fun movie. That culminating scene with Abe on the train en route to Gettysburg "to save the day," single-handedly fighting off a horde of Confederate Vampires with his silver-bladed rail-splitter's axe, contains some of the best martial-arts foolishness you'll find anywhere.
Decent production values -- the "low budget" wasn't all that obvious. And the acting wasn't half bad, either.
I enjoyed it

I enjoyed it and it is not a bad action horror movie. I have watched much worse.

Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter was released in 2012 which was the same year as the movie Lincoln by Steven Spielberg. I actually liked Abraham Lincoln Vampire Hunter better because in that movie not only did Lincoln save the Union, but he also saved all of mankind from the Blood Sucking Creatures of the Night. It's no wonder that history remembers Lincoln as one of the best Presidents ever.

I recall seeing a cheesy low-budget movie on the sci-fy channel years ago that was about an undead Bloody Bill Anderson haunting a western town in the SW commanding an undead legion of western townspeople and undead tourists in modern times. I mainly remember that movie as it was cheesy to the point of being hilarious rather than horrifying. Of course Bloody Bill was a burnt "terrifying" corpse in a likewise burnt farby Confederate greatcoat wielding a sword and he was unkillable.

As for "Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter" from what I recall it has a good musical score, and decent acting beyond that I can't comment favorably on it. Just a little too much historical skewering for my taste...
