And, despite his age and whatever infirmities...with that child upon his back... he was young, again, and taken back, I believe... or wanted to be... to another day.

Oh, that we were young, again...what miracles we could bring.

Oh I don't know. Not sure how much you'd have to pay me to do it all over and I didn't march off to war. Bet he's pretty happy to be a lot of years out from that awful war.

He maybe, didn't have a choice, Annie...or maybe he volunteered? Who knows? Do not take this, wrong, but, sometimes I believe some here are overly judgemental..or misunderstand...what war is/was.

p.s. I enjoy your posts, and I mean that.

I tried a couple of times, but the flag never was as red as in yours:

And, the only major drawback I see with that program is that Union uniforms always seem to turn out black. Have you had any luck getting blue?
