No it's not a Froelich, but it is a Kraft, Goldschmidt & Kraft, "Hampton" officers model sword in the former "Museum of the Confederacy" collection in Richmond.. As shown by one of the museum officials
Here's a few photos of the enlisted version {the brass hilt was slightly different}, given by Wade Hampton who had them made, to Sgt. James T. McCaa, of Company A, 2nd South Carolina Cavalry, The Hampton Legion. The 38" double edged blade is engraved in Spanish: {translated}
"DRAW ME KNOT WITHOUT REASON
SHEATH ME NOT WITHOUT HONOR"
McCaa survived the war. Also pictured are his image, holster, and Griswold revolver, and a bust of Wade Hampton.
