I wonder if the seller is big on selling junk, he has to know it is repro, although I am sure he would deny it. Too many out there like him or her.

Considering the composition of synthetic materials and the re-enactor buttons, they should have received the entire coat for that price. The gray cloth looks like rayon to me........

That is really a shame. The bidders obviously don't know what they are looking at either.

Reproduction... not even a good one at that... both sleeve and buttons are modern repros...

Unfortunate that there are folks out there desiring to get into the artifact collecting hobby that simply fail to even try to do any research on the items in question being offered...

Back in the days before Ebay changed their system so that you could no longer contact bidders, I used to send messages all the time to people who were bidding on fake relics.
