I have an authentic CW era canteen with information on it. It reads " William J. Hudson, 45th Alabama Co B" Already done basic/ preliminary research, but my skills are limited. If anyone here has any information on this Confederate soldier, I would greatly appreciate it. My preliminary research showed closest match to be "William J. Hudson, 43rd Alabama Co E".
