Earlier today I went to an antique store and found the holy grail of civil war books. Any topic that you had a question on could be answered. There was honestly too many books for me to choose, I found Raphael Semmes memoirs (something I've been longing to read) and "The History of the Confederate States Navy, from its organization to the Surrender of its Last Vessel". However since both were quite long, as you'd expect they costed a bit more than the others so I found a smaller book to suit my needs for now. It's called "The Narrative of a Blockade Runner". I am quite excited to read about the journey of John Wilkinson of being a blockade runner. Once I'm done I will write a review on here in case any others are interested,.
