Newly Acquired Buttons

Greetings,
I was recently gifted these buttons by a family member. They had collected them over a long period of time, and told me to use them with my coat and cap projects.
However, before I go using them, I want to make sure they aren't special, or particularly valuable.
(buttons with a red mark are cuff buttons)


First Buttons (Superior Quality) (These were odd... Larger than cuff, smaller than coat.)

Second Buttons (Scoville)

Third buttons (Waterbury)

Fourth Buttons (Philada Horstmann)

Fifth Buttons (Horstman Bros & Co Phila)

Sixth Buttons (C. Kenyon Co. New York)

First Cuff Buttons (Horstmann Phila)

Second Cuff Buttons (Horstmann Bros & Co Phila)

Third Cuff Buttons (Scoville MFG Co. Waterbury)

Fourth Cuff Buttons (Phila PA Thomas Co.)

Fifth Cuff Buttons (Horstmann Philadelphia)

Sixth Cuff Buttons (Scoville Waterbury)

I am unsure if any of these buttons are worth anything, special, etc.
If you have any information on these buttons, if anybody else has any, or if you have any ideas for keeping them in good condition, I would be much appreciative.

Nice collection of US buttons. Nothing rare just yankee eagle buttons. They should make great additions to your uniform.

Given the backmarks and raised shields on the eagle's chest, these are Indian War era buttons, likely dating 1870's to 1890's.

That'd make sense considering their love of that time period.
