ID help paper cartridge

Hello,

I picked this up at a flea market. The seller has had some good things in the past. He had no information regarding the cartridge other than his belief that it was Confederate. Any insight?

You might want to check lead diameter and overall length, post and look in the "Roundball to Rimfire" books

There are several it could be and as @JOHN42768 stated we need some measurements to help nail it down. Looking forward to seeing just what it is.

I don't have calipers but the projectile is very close to 1/2 inch in diameter at the base. The whole cartridge, from top of projectile to end of paper twist is approximately 3.5 inches. Here is a picture alongside a Starr cartridge and an ordinary.58 minie
