Accidentally killed by friendly fire

Private Christian Rohlfing was a member of Company I of the 69th Pennsylvania Volunteer Infantry which held their ground at the High Water Mark at the Angle in Gettysburg.
He Had his head blown off by friendly fire from Cushing's Battery during Pickett's Charge.
He was 18 years old
