150th NY

[Manassas 1861]

Here's some men of the 150th NY. Even though they were mustered into service in oct. 1862, many officers, and some enlisted men were stilled issue dark blue trousers. Some photos show frocks with scales, and others with frocks without scales or mountings. Two officers hold private purchase kepis, the kepi being more popular with the officer corps. And some very angular chevrons.
