Taking requests on colorization

Also seems to be related to each image for some reason.. Overlay looks better in some and too much in others using the same color code lol...Trial and error lol
I know exactly what you're saying. Remember my Grant photo? It looks pretty much like this Overlay, even though it's in Color... However it's a light blue. It looks like a twilight night sky. It's so weird how it fits in no other images but that one (so far).

This one may be too damaged for you to do. It's in a frame and can't be removed without further damaging the photo. I'm partially colorblind so I'm having difficulty finding the skin-like curves on adobe cs4 lol. If you would take a shot at this one that'd be great. It's a family photo of John M. Quinn, a private in the Thomas' Legion > Walker's Battalion > Company B.

Edit: I have a larger version of this picture, but the forum wouldn't let me post it since it exceeded the maximum size.

I've added it to my folder and I'll get on it when I do my next batch.

Thank you, no rush at all.

Unfortunately due to the way her hair and hat was captured by the camera, coloring them was nigh impossible. Skin looks off on everything but the 2 youngest and the little girl. I tried adding some rosy color but it was also close to impossible, I've included the Photoshop file incase you want to tweak the colors - I hope it'll be of some use for you. If you want some serious work done I'll need a scan-in sadly. I also did my best to restore it which meant stamp-copying the second from the left kid's full hand.

I think that looks pretty good considering what you had to work with Zuzah.

I think you are ready for a real challenge Zuzah. You will have to figure what the real color of the union officer's coat is on your own I think he is the Union general Averell.

Do you have a higher resolution image?

I'd like to see the skin less pale and pink. These guys mostly spent their days outdoors. Some ruddy might work well.
