While looking at a Military Images magazine it says a jacket was "Zouavesque". I am not sure I have ever seen this word as written. I am assuming "Zouavesque" means in the style of the Zouave, but am not sure such a word even exists. Has anyone seen the term "Zouavesque" used?

I've never heard this word, but I also think it means a Zouave-style jacket, like this Orderly Sergeant (Eugene L. Johnston, company B, 4th Kentucky Infantry):
