Perfect!
Funniest part of that movie . . . Meryl screaming about a dingo and her baby
Did it? ...And it was eventually revealed … the dingo did take her baby!
In the news down here today … a dingo took a 14 month old from a trailer (or caravan in our terminology). The poor kid has a fractured skull and cuts. The dad saw the dingo dragging the boy and chased the dingoes away (there was more than one). But to hear Meryl Streep screaming on film, in an 'OK' Aussie accent . . . priceless.
Still hope she can one day replicate a Mary Ann Forrest Southern drawl.
I hadn't realized it was a recurring problem, but it makes sense. In the news down here today … a dingo took a 14 month old from a trailer (or caravan in our terminology). I love using the dingo line in a terrible fake Australian accent
I'd be interested in seeing what she did with a Deep South one.Come to think of it, you're right.
It was a fake Australian accent.
But I'll give her credit . . . she tried.
I still would like to see Ms Streep attempt a Deep South USA accent.

We have the same issues with many Pit Bulls up here . . . not all owners, but the idiots that breed the poor dogs to fight let the animals run wild when they're through with em'.
It's never a pretty ending.
I doubt Forrest would have permitted such.
Seems like animals pay as high a price as humansWar just ain't happy

I have always said that Clint Eastwood missed his calling as he is the only one that could have played the part of Nathan Bedford Forrest.
I think your'e right.Think Clint kind of did play Forrest in Josey Wales - always thought his character was a nod to Forrest in many ways. (Clint is also a south paw who taught himself to be ambidextrous!)
Clint's a lefty?! I had never actually noticed that, though it has been awhile since I saw in him anything. I'm also a lefty who had right-handedness selectively forced on me, so I usually notice these things.Think Clint kind of did play Forrest in Josey Wales - always thought his character was a nod to Forrest in many ways.
