Where were pictures taken?

On page 213 of Lossing "Matthews Brady's Illustrated history of the Civil War" bottom
is picture of officers of Unidentified Union formation.

However there are at least 2 clues:
1) Several of men in picture are wearing "+" Corps badges-possibly VI Union Corps

2) The cabin in Background was also appears on page 123 Vol X of Francis Miller's "Photographic History of the Civil War" showing officers of the 36th Illinois Infantry
