Due to entrenched White Racism in the North and attitudes of Irish Immigrants; hangings and sexual mutation of Black bodies during the NYC Race Riots. It wouldn't be hard to see how the EP might adversely impact morale of Union Troops.

Also taking into account they were originally told they were fighting to keep the Races seperate so as to minimize Amalgamation and to keep the Black Man from bumping the White Man from his Plow.

Yep, t can see it.

The charge is made that Union soldiers were, as a reason for war, 'originally told they were fighting to keep the Races seperate so as to minimize Amalgamation and to keep the Black Man from bumping the White Man from his Plow.'

Does anybody agree?
