This Park has well marked signage, is very easily accessed from parking area, wonderful tour guides. Great visit!
Thank you so much. Was an interesting battle in several aspects....Nice photos, thanks for sharing
Thank you. Yes, it is beautiful. I put one view of it under Kirkland’s signage, but could not stop until I got it from all angles....here’s another from the rear:We went there several years ago. Thanks for the photos. Another favorite monument is the one to Angel of Marye's Heights.
Been there many time and it is a great town, however you should be wearing an Ambrose Burnside shirt. That would be more appropriate
Thanks so much for the comment. That entire area of Virginia is beautiful...full of gently rolling hills and at least 300 years of history. Being a native of the Alabama Gulf Coast, the only hills we ever see here are ant hills :+)).Thanks for sharing these awesome photos. Enjoyed it. Never been to Fredericksburg but it’s now in my Bucket List.

They always say one Reb is worth ten Yanks. But 36? Ok.Somewhere around in front of Lee's HQ is where my great great grandfather captured those 36 Yankees by him self. In and around Fredericksburg. Great details on the photos specially on the signage's for the battlefield. Love that park.
Nice Photos. Was at Fredericksburg Battlefield in June 2017.

THank you. Unlike some battlefield signage, the first one I posted was that giant one at the entrance. I did multiple edits on it for clarity. Appreciate the comment :+))Somewhere around in front of Lee's HQ is where my great great grandfather captured those 36 Yankees by him self. In and around Fredericksburg.
