The engraved illustration/coat of arms/heraldry on a certificate, such as a certificate of a military certificate.

US Army's Top Vignette, is curved with an eagle, with detailed banners identifying the certificate:
The
President of the United States of America within the bannered and flourished arch.
Under the USoA's banner, is a Latin phrase and below it; the American Bald Eagle with the 13 arrows in it's talons.
-----------------------
Bottom Vignette, is the bottom illustration; to which has four banners, cannons, drums, axes, ordnance, rifles, saber/sword, helmet with plume, ram rods, sponges, bayonets, mace, lances, bugle, etc. [tools of the military]
