Venison Chili

One must take into consideration the times in which it lived and the society that consumed it. Context is everything! For example, is a Frito Pie an honorable comestible?
I really believe the Frito honor question is geographically based. During our chili fundraiser planning, a Welshman newly arrived to the wilds of Arkansas seemed both horrified and fascinated by the existence of a Frito. We actually had to call a temporary halt to the meeting to explain what it was to him.

However, there was a Dane present at the fundraiser who ate some Fritos enthusiastically and without question. I was dying to quiz him about his knowledge of Fritos before he came to America, but they had me shoved in a corner doing something else and I never had the chance. :bounce:
