I'm looking to purchase some used weapons, mainly anything like a Kentucky Long Rifle(percussion cap), and a double barrel shotgun(percussion cap). As you may can tell I am going for a Home Guard/Civilian weapon, I have seen many Kentucky Long Rifles and double barrel shotguns new online, with the Kentucky the cheapest I found was around $250 (kit) which is not bad but I would like to you know have a worn look to it. Same goes for shotgun, well the worn look anyways because I haven't found a new one cheaper than around $700-$800. I know not many used these weapons throughout the war, and I usually am on artillery but I portray Home Guard/Civilian during our local event the Battle of Marianna/Marianna Day, because that was really the only ones defending Marianna were civilian's mostly "old" men and young boys. Anywho back to the weapons, if you have or know anyone who has a used Kentucky Long Rifle or double barrel shotgun and they wish to sell it please let me know, Thanks.

I have original double barrel percussion shotguns that sell from $350 to $450. Depends if you want to shoot them or not. I bought about everyone I saw several years ago and have a stack of them in the corner. All my Kentucky long rifles are original and keepers. (I do have one rifle that I'm considering selling at $9,000)

Yes sir I would like to shoot them in a way, but of course for reenactment use only I wouldn't mind original pieces but I think I'd be afraid to shoot em not because they are old but I wouldn't want to damage them. On the note of the Kentucky long rifle, I am afraid $9,000 is a tad bit out of my price range lol.
