Both brothers in Unit 209 PA Inf. One in company "G" and one in company "F".
Would they have been fighting together or would they have rarely seen each other? (I know this is a dumb questions to those that have been studying the war for a long time- sorry.) Pat

In general Companies were seperate entities and deployed as such, but the regiment was usually kept together. Occassionally they would split off companies for specific duties, such as guarding a certain area, fort or depot. They would have seen each other fairly often, but on a battle line they would have been at separate points, but could have been right next to each other or at opposite ends of the two companies.
