I recently traveled from my home in south Louisiana to Utica, New York, and while there took these photos of the local Civil War monument. It's in good condition, as you can see.

Few years back I visited Orange County NY where I came across the 124th NY Orange Blossoms monument in Goshen NY. Then I found out my wife-to-be grew up within 100 feet of where William Seward was born and raised, with a monument in Florida, NY standing outside Seward High School. I knew I had met the love of my life (not Seward, my wife).
