This important engineering feat on the old Western & Atlantic Railroad connected Atlanta with Chattanooga. It was used up until the 1920's when a larger one was built about 120 feet to right of this picture (north). I took this picture on July 13, 2021. All the growth gives it a rather spooky, gothic aura. Today it is a good train spotting place, lot's of activity.

I was confused that it would be a good spot for train spotting, but I reread the caption and realized that "All the growth gives it a rather spooky, gothic aura. Today it is a good train spotting place, lot's of activity" refers to "a larger one was built about 120 feet to right of this picture." Gettin' old, I guess.
