It appears that 1853 was their biggest year for production. Two questions; did they make cars as well as locomotives, and what was the reason for such a high number to remain unused during the war; 4 x 4 track width?
Although they certainly could have made cars, I have seen no reference to them having done so.

I do not know the history of the non-war locomotives. I'm sure at least one or two were involved in accidents. Many of the others were early and small sizes and may have been re-made by the owning railroads and re-named in the process. Locomotives that were not found to work well on a road were frequently sold to railroads under construction where they acquired new names.
