Tom Dickey “tells all” in a speech given in Atlanta, Georgia in 1986. He speaks about some of his memorable relic hunts, his covert operations, run-ins with local law enforcement and even the FBI!

The links below will get you to the speech recorded in January 1986 at the Atlanta Civil War Round Table.

It is in two parts and is well worth the listen. He was a legend and a great story teller!

He was indeed and I was lucky enough to have hunted with him on several occasion but not on his night hunts a Vicksburg. :D When he invited me to his house when I was at the old Atlanta CW show it was amazing. There is another that folks don't talk about near as much. Beverly DuBose. I'm sure it covers his infamous Holiday Inn Vburg incident.

Got another link for that talk? The links seem to be dead. I know I’m a little late to this conversation. I tried looking online for an other version but came up empty handed.

I suppose it has been taken down. I hate it because the stories were fabulous. I truly hope that they resurface somewhere. If someone finds them hopefully they will post a link here.
