TIME lists 10 Historic Sites Actually Worth Visiting

Three: Gettysburg, Lincoln Memorial, Vietnam Memorial. I hope to visit President Lincoln's Cottage this summer (along with Clara Barton's Missing Soldiers Office, which, only recently discovered and restored, is lesser-known and didn't make the list.)
 
I seriously doubt if there were any experts. It's like the ten best towns in America, all subjective and a serious lack of research. I'm amazed at how people buy into these articles.
Yep, it's like the top 10 steakhouses list in your flight magazine. You pay to play.
 
Most people like to see beautiful and uplifting things. Tragedy, Indian removal, slavery and war are generally not on most people's lists. The list does generally jibe the current narrative of America is bad. Not surprised.
