I had no idea that Joseph Hooker was buried in Ohio. Upon searching for how that came to be, I found that Cincinnati was his wife's hometown. The cemetery is on my list of places to visit on my next trip to that part of the state.

Cincinnati is a very interesting place to visit, especially around Oktoberfest.

Second best to Munich, Germany!

There is a lot of Civil War history in the Cincinnati (Tri-State) area.

I did an extensive study in 2010 on the possible Confederate army invasion of Cincinnati in 1862.

The Defense of Cincinnati is filled with a ton of twists and turns.

General Lew Wallace is known as "The Savior of Cincinnati."
