I hope that you enjoyed it and if your travels ever bring you down this way, you are always welcome at my home.
Very kind!
The same invitation is given if you are up north in the Greater Cincinnati Area.

Anybody know if the John Hunt Morgan and John Breckenridge statues have got proper bases yet?
This is a very beautiful and well maintained cemetery as is the cemetery in near by Frankfort. Graves in Frankfort include Daniel Boone, Simon Bolivar Buckner, John J. Crittenden (Crittenden Compromise), George B. Crittenden (Union), Thomas L. Crittenden (Confederate), Major Thomas B. Moore (Orphan Brigade), General Daniel Weisiger Lindsey (Union 22nd Kentucky Reg).
Didn't mean to get off track, but I always try to promote my home state when I can.
You missed several other important graves there, Bill. Maj. Gen. Gordon Granger, commander of the Army of the Cumberland's Reserve Corps, is buried there. A few yards away--perhaps 40 or so--is the grave of Brig. Gen. Abraham Buford, commander of a division under Forrest and John Buford's first cousin. And in another part of the cemetery rests Henry Brainard McClellan, the very able adjutant general for both JEB Stuart and Wade Hampton, who was headmaster of a private girl's school in Lexington after the war.
Next time......
Talk to me first, Bill. I will help you to locate them.
From the Halls of Montezuma to the Shores of Tripoli...You forgot the most important grave in the whole Frankfort Cemetery, Paul.
Lt. Presley N. O'Bannon, USMC!
