I expect this thread to have a short existence.

In the interests of ensuring that, I nominate Cain as the ideological father of the Confederacy. Or maybe Adam, but Cain seems more appropriate.

Perhaps its just me but wasn't Adolf Hitler born in 1888? How could he be considered idealogical progenitor of an organization that ceased to exist in May of 1865?

Hmmm why is it its always pro Confederacy people who say that "Unionists" will compare Hitler and the Nazis to the Confederacy.. Yet so far the ones I have ever seen write those words have been pro-CSA posters...
