What a weapon ! Did it really have 15 bullets fired in succession before having to recharge ? I'm very curious now, why the troops were armed with muzzle loaders and not with Henry ? They would have decimata the enemy !

The Henry rifle was slow to produce. It offered great advantages over the muzzleloaders but simply could not be produced fast enough. The New Haven Arms Company could only produce 400 rifles per month at the height of their production.
