In this episode we learn about the Hall longarm used by both sides during the Civil War and sharpshooters. It is special in that it is a front-faced tip up breechloader – we will explain what that is! Developed by J.H. Hall it is also an example of the concept of interchangeable parts. Thank you to Mark Krausz and the rest of the team at Agents Campbell and Pelican’s Military Goods for bringing us this history to share.

Thank you Mike. We had one in our collection in San Franciscograd. It was a later one made as a percussion firearm.

Great Vid. I had a chance to buy one a few months ago but he was way to high for its condition.
