The Fenian Raids and the Civil War

    But what if the Fenian Army had penetrated General Meade's defensive line and went on to capture Washington D.C? No wait, wrong war and the Fenians did not have General Pickett to lead the attack.

    I still think they should do a reenactment next year for the 150th anniversary of the battles. Some Fenians could wear green jackets and caps but most folks could use their Union or Confederate uniforms and equipment while some of our Canadian friends could wear red uniforms. It would indeed be a colorful event.
