The federal facilities staffer who found the long-forgotten location of Clara Barton's Missing Soldiers Office in Washington, DC, doesn't specifically say a ghost tipped him off to the discovery, but I'd say his experience qualifies as paranormal. He tells the story at 8:21 in this fascinating video from C-Span:

Wow. Thank goodness that employee of the US General Services Administration saw that envelope hanging down from the ceiling and went upstairs to investigate. Otherwise, it would have just been another demolished building. Thanks for sharing the link to the video. Here's a link to the museum website for those who would like to take a look. http://www.clarabartonmuseum.org/ourstory/ The story of the discovery is fascinating! If I ever find my way to DC I'd love to visit.

That is amazing! We just watched the whole thing. The socks with blood on them are now at the Museum of Civil War Medicine in Frederick, MD.

Pretty cool. Clara obviously was determined that someone notice her office. Glad he had the brass ones to stick around and find things!

And the determination to do the research and perseverance to stick to his mission for the many months that it took to save the building. I hope there might be an historical or preservation organization somewhere that would honor him for his work.
