Oh, rats. The video is disabled!
And here I was just getting hungry...
Looks very tasty.
Interesting,should be a tasty one.
Hmmmm.... I like sweet onions. I love cornbread. This might be a game changer.
Sounds good to me! I think the combo would be tasty together. Maybe throw in some jalapenos to kick things up a notch as sweet and spicy is a good combo
We put jalapeños in our corn bread often, sometimes with cheese also.
Too true, @Anna Elizabeth Henry! Jalapenos don't just kick things up in food, they are the key to kicking up life itself.
My husband loves them but I can't eat them. too hot for me.
My wife feels the same way....even a red bell pepper is too spicy for her palate.
I just can't eat hot spicy foods. I actually get sick. So the hot ones are for my husband and the mild sweet ones are for me.
I am in the presence of culinary geniuses. Although nobody has mentioned bacon yet.
@Malingerer, the praises of bacon are sung on many a thread here...allow me to bring in @LoriAnn and @JohnW. for such a sacred discussion.
Now I love bacon. Eat it all the time.
Everything is different now.
Sometimes I can be cultured and profound. Bacon does that.
As much as we love bacon on this forum somethings here in the south are sacred and putting bacon in with the cornbread, onion, jalapeno, and cheese might, and I mean Might be overkill.but what the heck.
Just love that poem.
