    Sounds good to me! I think the combo would be tasty together. Maybe throw in some jalapenos to kick things up a notch as sweet and spicy is a good combo :wink:

    We put jalapeños in our corn bread often,sometimes with cheese also.

    Too true, @Anna Elizabeth Henry! Jalapenos don't just kick things up in food, they are the key to kicking up life itself.

    My wife feels the same way....even a red bell pepper is too spicy for her palate. :smile:

    I just can't eat hot spicy foods. I actually get sick. So the hot ones are for my husband and the mild sweet ones are for me.

    As much as we love bacon on this forum somethings here in the south are sacred and putting bacon in with the cornbread,onion,jalapeno,and cheese might,and I mean Might be overkill.but what the heck.
