I also like to collect unusual bullets and I have a few examples of what have become known as "stretchies. The were fully cast bullets that were fired thru a weapon of a different caliber than what the bullet was designed to be fired from. I am looking for any answers as to what weapon would have fired these bullets. I have added the pics of 3 bullets that were fired and can be identified. I have matched the example with a fired and unfired. The first pic really has most of my interest as it is 6 sided. There are no raised marks or grooves. The other 3 examples are all round in shape after firing.
