I can't resist sharing some more holiday recipes for beverages and desserts. I hope I'm not duplicating ones that have already been shared. I searched so....

Cherry Cheesecake Martini

Ingredients:

· 1/2 oz. brand of your choice Cake vodka
· 3/4 oz. brand of your choice Cherry vodka
· 1/4 oz. butterscotch schnapps
· 1/4 oz. cranberry juice
· Splash of half and half cream

Rim/Garnish:

· Graham cracker crumbs
· Maraschino cherries

Directions:

Rim a martini glass with graham cracker crumbs (dip rim in water then into graham cracker crumbs).

Add brand of your choice cake vodka, cherry vodka, butterscotch schnapps, cranberry juice, and half and half cream to martini shaker, fill with ice and shake well.

Pour through strainer into martini glass and garnish with a cherry.

Tangy Cherry Tea Sorbet (a
light, refreshing Christmassy dessert or palate cleanser)

Ingredients:

· 4 teaspoons artificially sweetened dry ice tea mix
· 1 1/4 cups water
· 2 tablespoons lemon juice
· 3 cups frozen tart cherries


Directions:

Combine dry tea mix with water and lemon juice, stirring until completely dissolved. Place half of tea mixture in blender container or food processor. Add half of frozen cherries. Process until almost smooth. Repeat with remaining tea and cherries.

Serve immediately. Freeze any remaining sorbet. When ready to serve frozen sorbet, place pieces of sorbet in blender or food processor to soften.

Makes about 3 cups.
