Spellman, Frank, LaGrange, Indiana. Enlisted in Company C, Fourth Infantry, as 2nd Corporal, June 20, 1861, at Adrian, for 3 years, age 19. Mustered June 20, 1861. Killed in action at Malvern Hill, Virginia, July 1, 1862.
Vaughn, Eugene, LaGrange, Indiana. Enlisted in Company C, Fourth Infantry, as Corporal, June 20, 1861, at Adrian, for 3 years, age 24. Mustered June 20, 1861. Sergeant. Wounded slightly in action at battle of Fredericksburg, Virginia, December 12, 1862. Missing in action at Chancellorsville, May 1, 1863. Returned to regiment at Culpepper, Virginia, October 9, 1863. Mustered out at expiration of term of service June 29, 1864.
